2008 Liberty Limited rear differential service?

TIA I want to service the rear differential on my wife's 08 Liberty Limited. Aside from removing the spare tire, is there anything else that needs to be removed to take off the differential cover? The Panhard bar and some other bar [the name is slipping my mind] that runs very close to the cover look like they might be in the way. If anyone has serviced one please let me know.

I serviced mine but I pumped the old fluid out through fill hole.

I want to remove the cover and get it all out.

I would imagine pumping would get the majority of it out... but that's just a guess. Maybe pump as much as you can, then add some and pump again... kind of like a flush? That's what I was wanting to do just didn't want to admit it publicly... garage wants $100.
