Razzed???? :shrug::shrug::happy175::happy175::favorites68:
Just telling you the truth, bet I have done a few more lifts than most on these KJs and know what works from experience. Also from being on several KJ forums over the past 11-12 years and reading feedback from others.
Just trying to help you on your lift in providing quality parts not junk, always thought thats why these sites existed, to share and provide info

as far as the bumpstops THEY ARE on jeepinbyals site, also rear like has been mentioned, 2 hockey pucks per side works BEST

Lots of difference from a two stroke over seas motorsickle and a KJ

I didn't say THEY WEREN'T. I said I couldn't find them and asked for a link.

Thanks a lot.

You all should realize by now.. It's like the millionth time it's occurred here lol.... People don't want helpful info that is good to know.. They just want to hear the answers that will confirm what they want so they feel good about their decision.

The moment they realize their idea was actually not a very good or cost effective one, all of a sudden everyone is attacking/razzing them instead of just trying to help them and they still ignore all of the proven advice and still go with the sub par or proven to be more expensive options.

That is why companies like Rocky Road still exist. That is also why you will have a forum with several pages of multiple people telling someone not to do a certain lift and they still turn around and do it despite being told a way cheaper way to achieve the exact same thing.

You just have to let people learn on their own and go the route they have chosen and enjoy what they got because what is done is done. We are all automotive guys/girls in here so we are all pretty thick headed in one way or another here.

Yeah, I hear ya. I own/manage 2 niche forums, one about flooring the other about hunting. This kinda stuff goes on all the time. Sometimes the n00b gets expert advice and they act like it's worthless.

The reason I joined this forum is because of all that expert advice. I know I can get a lift that looks cool for way less than a grand. But I'm not here for cheap and looking cool is only part of the equation. I know better than to dismiss the advice of pros. In the short amount of time I've spent here, I know that when I am ready, I will get the guidance I need to have the best performing, smoothest ride and most durable lift I can afford. Cool looks will be a happy byproduct.

I'm also grateful for discussions like this - I know what NOT to get.

Jim
