changed out the torqflo clutch fan with a thermostatic clutch fan from NAPA.

Doesn't hit the shroud anymore during acceleration and the nut was about the same as the delphi one that was on.

oh and I tried to remove my stuck transfer case fill plug with a impact wrench and the wrench + jack methods, both didn't work :(

Mine has anew friend for the next week or so
Owner brought her up from Kentucky for a lift, tires, alignment and whatever else I find that it needs
She is kind of sitting low and sad though. Over an inch below stock height. Oh and a CRD model

Started the installation of my Double-DIN AV Stereo. Thought I'd finish it this afternoon. Ha Ha Ha!!!

Now I just hope I can get it done before it gets too cold out... :emotions34:

I'm back, long story short I quit my job, got my laptop stolen from me and never recovered, I now work for the USPS as a letter carrier so I've been getting back into shape very quickly. The Jeep had been slightly neglected since I work all hours of daylight pretty much finally got a day off now where I could give it some attention. buffed all the lights to a crystal clear shine, took care of some scratches, also gave it a wash inside and out.

Nice travel setup! Question for you... without rock rails where do you place your farm jack to lift?

Haven't had to do that yet...rock rails ended up on the back burner for the moment in lieu of some other essentials...only baby trails for us for the time being...but thanks for reminding me to check the owner's manual for any jack points on the side...

Darn! I was hoping you knew haha. I have the same dilemma for the time being. (just using the stock jack for now in a pinch)

Finished (mostly) my Double-DIN stereo install. Took it out for a ride and cranked it up. It will take some doing to get used to the touch screen, but so far I am liking it.

This little gadget made cutting up the interior of the dash a breeze: Electric Body Saw It's basically a mini Sawzall you can hold with one hand and fit into tight spaces.

The "mostly" comment above refers to the fact that I'm still looking for the best place to tap into a backup wire. Got some good leads in another thread so hopefully will get that done soon.

There isn't any jacking points for a Hi-Lift unless you have aftermarket bumpers/ rockrails or those hooks that fit into the wheel so you can lift it up. Although those can be dangerous at best

Being so close to Butler, I should go, just too many other things going on right now. Make sure to wave to any FedEx ground (EX will be green) semi's you see on I-79 in the evening, one of them will be me.
They have a nice obstacle/rock crawling course set up right next to the interstate.

Got the jeep to the shop. Apparently my garage torqued my T-case fill plug to much when I went for the bi-annual check up, now I can't remove it and need to change the oil...
