Roll up windows with the remote

Hi to all,
I have a question about the remote.
Is there a way to make all the windows roll up and close the sunroof with remote (i mean when locking the car while leaving)?
It is very annoying that you need to close all the windows before leave the car and not being able to close them with remote.

if you think of sunroof and windows together, i think it is pretty much annoying.

of course it should be possible to program the car to do it so but it requires specific tools and software knowladge.

i heard some bmw s closes their windows if you only lock your car with key (not remote). i thought maybe jeep has sth similar.

And Jeep Liberty 4x4's can go off road in mud and rock crawl but BMW's cannot. One just has to make choices of capabilities....

Very true, but we do have to reach over and pull up on that pesky handle.

Yeah, a pain but just think of the days before power windows. Windows had to be individually rolled up and down manually. Someday we might be just able to tell the jeep what we want and it will just be done.

I would much rather have manual windows instead of power, now someone wants everything to close when just turning off the switch :happy175::happy175::happy175:

Electronic BULL Crap is all most of that is / unneeded

Can always get an aftermarket alarm that have those type of plugins/accessories. Would be able to do it with the fob.

I am not comparing bmw and jeep, just saying they have this feature that most of the owners do not aware (beacuse it doesnt work via remote). So i thought maybe we have a similer feature that I dont know how to use.
That is the reason i asked.

So i am NOT asking anybody to do you want this kind of feature. i am asking does jeep have this feature or not and i got my answer

My XJ has manual everything. I have to make sure my doors are all locked when I get out, can you imagine?

Apologies to Reflection. You asked a straightforward question and my reaction is to jump to Jeep's defense, although with tongue in cheek. After wimping out by buying a Liberty 4x4 instead of an open Wrangler, I can't diss anyone. In my defense, the wife finally wanted a 4x4 for dirt road use so I chose the vehicle she will be happy to spend hours in. A wimpy compromise for die hard Jeep enthusiasts, but I chose to go with a decision that will work long term. Riding with a pretty female in hot Georgia woods in air conditioning ain't bad. My first experience with a Jeep was riding with my brother in a WWII Jeep off road. Loved it then and still fondly remember the experience. Perhaps a Wrangler will some day find its way home with me... but in the meantime, I love the Liberty Limited!

The minicooper lets me roll the windows down by holding the unlock button but I cannot put them back up. It was one of those features that I thought was cool at first but since then I've never used.

As far as the Liberty, No that is not a built in feature. You could rig something up to work but considering the time and hassle it would probably be easier to just purchase a Viper system. I know with those, you can get the actuators and sensors added on to auto roll the windows up and down etc.

My Titan will roll up and unroll the windows by holding down the Lock (Up) and Unlock (Down) buttons on the key fob, Neat feature but annoying because my 17 month old insists on playing with my keys so I have to make sure he doesn't roll them down and not get rolled back up.

CRD has me sit idling for 2+ minutes for the turbo to spin down and cool so I have lots of time to arrange windows, dog, pocket lists. Sometimes I forget and jump out with the seatbelt on. Better than buying a new turbo. Turbotimer is on the wishlist.

Ya that is "different"? Never heard of that before! I have a turbo in our car and it only spools up with heavy acceleration, with no need to let it idle to cool down. Under normal acceleration the engine and components(Turbo) will cool itself,with the help of the fan if need be.
