Would hood latches from a wrangler fit in our liberty's? I have a little front end damage and the hood bounces just a little at highway speeds. Plus I think it may even look cool.

Never heard of anyone using latches from a wrangler.
Although I don't mind when things :Whoa:" bounce a little"

Something like this? Guess you would call it a Rubicon Goldberg latch. lol
Might look cool, maybe. They come in different flavors in the aftermarket.

I'd sooner fix it the right way than to make something else work that may or may not

My plan is to fix it right. I just was thinking until I can get all the parts, would these be a possible option just to help until I could fix it.

There's a pair of large plastic or rubber stops, usually on the front core support at each corner of the hood, that the hood rests on. They are threaded, simply screw them out a bit and test, until the hood sits properly.

If you are concerned with it flying up while driving, grab some chain, two S-hooks, and a turnbuckle from Home Despot or Slowe's and make your own latch...keep a small screwdriver or flat bar handy to work the turnbuckle when you need access...of course, this represents money you COULD be spending on a replacement latch, but would be worth a little piece of mind at 65mph...so the hood doesn't cross your mind!

That wouldn't be a temporary fix. Once you screw the brackets on the fenders and hood, there ain't no turning back without doing bodywork. A true temporary option would be to use self adhesive attachment strips, as shown in the picture below.

^ lol. It is latched all the way. I rhink because of the grille and header panel being broken, it may just have too much airflow causing the hood to shake a little.

He's just going for the classic 7-Slot Grille Jeep look. Must be jealous. :icon_lol:
