Center Hoop Brushgaurd??

Hey! I am contemplating buying a center hoop brushguard for my 04 KJ renegade. <Warrior Pre-Runner Center Hoop Brushguard, Steel Gloss - Black - WAR59012> ****I was wondering if anybody had already done this and had some pics so i could see how it looks? Thanks in advance! -Emory

How are you going to mount it ?

I had one, i mounted it thru the plastic bumper and used big washers on the backside. It shook bad.

I had just planned on mounting it onto the silver part of my renegade front bumper straight onto the top of it.

Only a small area to mount to that will attach to the frame rails , other wise it will be a flopper

If you can weld, then you can weld a tab to use screws to secure it to the metal bumper underneath

It's not a KJ but I have something similar (stinger) that is welded on. I wouldn't have the platic cover be your mount points at all though. Just the drag on the interstate could be enough to rip it out of the plastic going down the road.. Probably wouldn't make for a good time at all.

This seems like more work than i had planned. I didn't even think about the bumper not being strong enough, didn't even cross my mind. I guess im just a dreamer
