i need to replace a burned out factory fog on the grill. i will go ahead and replace both lights.

recommend me some fogs thats better than stock but around the same price or at least not to much higher.

im not looking for extreme white or anything like that because thats kind of a gimmick and actually limits the light band thats put out.
led will be fine to if the price is right. what are my options here?

Well for running street legal/non-blinding I would stick to the 55w setup. Led's are not legal to run on the road.

LED's are street legal.
Plenty of new cars come with them as side markers, tail lights and DRL's . Some even use LED for Head lights.

Why run your headlights in broad sunny clear daylight weather? If people can't see you without having to see your headlights on, they shouldn't be on the road.

Not trying to be snippy :) I just like to keep recomendations legal. Especially since he likes to run them all the time. I would hate for someone to get in trouble with a lawman with his ******* in a bunch over a online recomendation.

Depends on where he lives, he could get pulled over for running his fog lights in clear weather even with regular bulbs.

Not being a jerk, but DRL's have no proven safety statistics that they have cut down on any form of accidents due to somebody not being able to see a car in clear sunny daylight weather.

High quality OEM replacement bulb for the OEM foglight housing, Sylvania and Philips makes great OEM replacement bulbs.

Oh and if you get pulled over for having OEM fogs on that cop is a total idiot unless you have the fogs on with high beams since that is illegal. There also is many LED's that are 100% legal, even as headlights or any other bulb in your vehicle that are aftermarket.

I completely, positively, 110% agree!

And what about at dusk? dawn? fog? at what point are people to turn on their lights? so many times I see vehicles without their lights on when they should be. With DRL's, or having the habbit of turning your lights on all the time(which I do as well) is just safer overall. No I do not have documented proof, I have what is called common sense!

I usually replace my bulbs with the sylvania silverstar ultras. A little pricey but so far I've been happy with them. tjkj2002, are those the ones you are reffering too? if not which ones do you use?
