Got it hooked up and the antenna tuned. The bluetooth picked my phone up right away. Now I can talk on my cell using the CB mike. Waiting on my mount to come.

Now I'm jealous. :icon_lol:

Found an old Radio Shack and my old FuzzBuster but couldn't find my Cobra. If I can locate my antenna I'm gonna hook one of these dinky ones up anyway. Give me something to do when I'm stuck in traffic of 270.

I has an aluminium rod that you can bend and cut to fit. The foot just fits under the seat base as you can see. No drilling!!

I took the cover off the radio to mount the B 111. I decided to rivet in on.

The cool thing with Ram mounts is how you can move them around. If I have a passenger I can put it here.

Even better I can take the radio out within seconds. I also got a quick detach for my antenna.

The nice thing about this setup is when I get a call I just push a button in the mike and answer and speak thru the mike. You can hear the call thru the radio.

The Ram stuff is American made and affordable..best of all worlds. Their catalog is so deep its actually hard to wade thru. They have literally hundreds of mounts. Motorcycles, auto, aircraft, marine, mounts for every tablet, phone, radio ect..ect.

No problem..as you can see those guys have a lot of solutions. Your imagination can run wild looking thru their catalog.

I'm looking now for a suitable mount to attach my teenagers to the roof of the Jeep....:icon_twisted:

I have one which is similar, if not identical. I'd advise removing it regularly and keeping it oiled or vaselined. (That's what she said...) I went through a car wash last month and had to unscrew the base because it had rusted up on me. Soaking it in penetrating oil freed it up and it still works fine, but re-lubing is now on my list of regular maintenance.

I like your setup! :waytogo:

Looks good. I'm still trying to figure something out. I'd prefer not to have it by the passenger seat. Thanks for that link maybe they have something on there that I can use.

Yea you can find several ways to do it differently. I always planned on it there I just wanted the flexibility to move it around or remove it easily. For the record my wife is ok with over there. We drove a couple of hours today and she for sure would have told me if she wanted to take it out.
