For this kind of thing you would wana pick up new rivets ot fasteners or whatever to re-attach the fenders due to breakage? Would spray plasti work? Or roll on?

I did my old Sport flares with them on. Just wanted to see what all the talk was about PlastiDip , taped really well and sprayed away. Have a full set of Renegade flares so didn't care what happened to the Sport flares

Is there a good way to do the renegade flares without covering the metal studs?

Hate plastic dip but it works on them and lasts quite a while

My only worry is it coming off due to gas spillage on the fender near the cap. How did it work out for you?

And before anyone says be careful when filling, or dont overflow, I live in a state where we cant pump our own gas

No issues for me even if it would run down and stain it , just mask over and lightly spray another coat

If you had a long and very fine pick you could peel it off, assuming you were careful enough. That's how I Plasti Dipped my emblems. (I didn't need a long pick since the emblems aren't recessed like that.)

I'd try using some long Q-tips and putting a layer of Vaseline over them. Once the Plasti Dip is set good you could just hose it off.
