Lesson to myself, don't pull up on blades when they are covered in ice & snow,& still frozen to the windshield!:doh2:
At least I did not hop in & turn the wipers on! :icon_wink:

Ah yes the sound of rubber tearing as you're lifting the passenger blade... cause you're in a hurry, and need the windshield scraped.:icon_frown:
Do you use winter blades now and switch back to regular blades?
My Bosh Icon's tore like a piece of paper!
What brand should I get now?
Anything work well as an all season wiper blade ?

Bosch Icon for me too. I'll have to remember to be careful with the frozen windshield. ;)

^ OMG..I've heard of knife & pencil sharpeners...But now I need a wiper blade sharpener...eh.??
Geez Chuck...that's a first...Do you need blinker fluid to help sharpen them too ?? :icon_lol:
I should order one of those sharpeners to try though. The blades do build up a lot of crap and I can see that helping to get a sharp edge again.
Generally though after a year my blades are toast form either the sun or cold take your pick.
Hmm..these look reasonable and more beefy than the Icons for winter.. :party52:
TRICO Ice®: Extreme Winter Wiper Blades | TRICO® Windshield Wipers
The last Trico's I had, used a rubber outside coating that fell apart in 5 months.
The Trico Ice doesn't seem to have that rubber shield stuff.

I like the outside looks of these with sharp angles. Looks like ice may fall off easier etc.

I use trico Force and in the hard condition from quebec they last near 2 year with no care at all. I pull on them very often when they are frozen and they still work like a charm. They are also less expensive than the bosch.

I really like Silblade silicone blades They last for years and after using them for a while water beads up on the windshield from the silicone rubbing off on the glass.

Not the mountains.
I usually try to wipe off and clean the blades every week. I usually get a year and a half out of whichever brand I get that's on sale.

First I started with Bosch Icons. Those blades lasted a whopping 3 YEARS! The next blades I tried were the Trico Neoforms. Those were also not a cheap blade but they lasted a whopping 8 months until they started making squeaking and farting noises...off they went a couple of weeks ago and I'm back to brandy new Bosch Icons :)

I always seemed to have good luck with the cheap Motomaster blades from Canadian Tire but I was at Costco a while back and they had Michelin Stealth wiper blades for $10.00 a blade, We have had no luck with big names like Rain X and what not so we decided to try them anyways and they have been great, Wife has a pair on her 2011 Equinox and loves them too.

Bosch Icons I believe, though I should have went with the 18 inch on the passenger side instead of the 19 inch standard, I have a roughly a one eighth inch hang over where the blade doesn't wrap to the wind shield. I actually noticed a KJ on Saturday that was running an 18 inch passenger side with Michelin Beam Blades.

So you are referring to the Michelins from costco that you are happy with? Those are the ones I was also thinking of purchasing.
Thanks for the review

Yep, Have used them in every condition and they have held up fantastic, Can't go wrong with the price either.
