Hello to all from South Carolina. I have an 03' Jeep Liberty, which I am getting ready to put a lift on it, 33" tires and new wheels, bumpers and winch, rock sliders, roof rack, some led lights, and gears front and back. I'm looking for a Jeep Club to join and wheel with. My son and I enjoy offroading, even though he is 2-1/2. We live in the Upstate of S.C. and would like to join a nearby club if possible. Thanks.

If you're going 33s then do it right with 6 inch JBA lift/ 4.88 gears in a new steel front diff etc

Thanks Tom. I've read a lot of posts from you and several others. Been a long time lurker, finally had time from work to actually get online and post something. I'm sure that I am going to pick your vast information stored in your walking book of knowledge, your brain! Lol. I've got several ideas, just trying to pick a plan and roll with it.

(welcome)

265/75-16's are about the tallest you can go without A LOT of mods. You'll have fun researching here on the forum - lots of info and support as you go through your build.

Don't be a stranger - post often! :waytogo:

Thanks Bob. I'm working on something to net me 285x75R16's, but that might end up going SFA, who knows. If I end up changing and going to SFA, then it's 35' or 37's. But it's still going to be a fun either way. Still will be reading and doing research on this site as well other sites. I definitely wouldn't be a stranger, I'll be picking some of y'all's brains as well.
Thanks,
Shawn

If you are thinking of going SFA then LOSTJEEPs has the best information, whole section just on that subject.
Otherwise 285-75-16s are going to be hard to do without 6 inch lift/ way lower gears( 4.88s) Now you could be like some and start hacking away  but its funny how they don't last long :icon_lol:
4 inches of lift with the JBA adjustable coilovers / 4.10s and 265-75-16s work great
really good ride overall, mines been lifted over 190,000 miles last 50,000 plus with the adjustable coilovers and its hard to beat. With 32s wish the gearing could be lower by a little but its not bad. Still 21 mpg plus on the highway
