That's like getting ripped off twice I understand why it just *****.

At least the old KJ can donate some of it's parts to your new KJ, and maybe a few others.

Soooo after me nearly having a mini stroke because I found MY jeep( that is still titled to me and still has MY insurance on it....) UP ON AN INSURANCE AUTO AUCTION WEBSITE ... With auction date TBA!!!!!!! The insurance has decided that I can buy her back :0D

I get her back tomorrow!!! I can hardly wait!! It's bad that its payday.. Because I know I'm gonna end up at the junkyard looking for parts to replace what was stolen under the hood... To try and turn her over

Technically yes! But for how long i do not know... Depending on just how bad she is will determine if I'm gonna keep her and try to repair her... Or if I'm just gonna part her out...

Great to hear that you have your old liberty back.

I'll post pics tomorrow... But a quick once over and I can see that they stole the complete left front caliper, the left front rim and tire, the brake master cylinder, the power steering pump, they cut the hard lines up and stole the ac condenser, radiator fan and shroud, they cut the high flow Cat out and mangled Up the pipe coming off the headers right after The o2 sensor, stole the entire sound system, and the battery... SO by the sounds of it they were after particular parts possibly for another KJ after a joy ride..or parts that could easily sell? Crazy.

The list from yesterday was pretty complete... They stole the battery, brake master cylinder, power steering pump, cut the hard lines and took the ac condenser, broke off the vacuum fitting from the driver side rear of the valve cover, took the entire left front caliper, they cut out the high flow cat, and it looks like they used tin snips on the pipe right after the downstream o2 sensor on the passenger side, they stole the system, and destroyed the ignition cylinder... The header panel is completely destroyed as well as the bracket that the hood latches down on... Not too shabby... I started looking up parts on car-part.com ... And it looks like I'll be able to replace everything under the hood for less than 300 bucks...

Damn man, people are jerks! My buddy had his yj stolen a couple months ago, they screwed up the dash and steering column, sliced the soft top, slashed all four of his MTs, stole the spare, and sliced the fuel line. We picked it up in a trailer park about 20 miles away with my flatbed trailer.

Glad you got it back and you're able to fix her up.
