Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this!

I've been on leave and haven't driven my Jeep (2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade) and today I drove it and notice it was running hot. All the way to the H. I turned it off and put a lot of coolant in it.

Each time I would put more coolant in it, after a while the level would go down. After about a gallon and a half, it seemed to be retaining it. I drove it for about twenty minutes and it didn't run hot at all. It stayed right in the middle like it usually does.

But when I stopped, it had lost about 25% of it's coolant. What could this be.. ?? I've checked under it several times and no links/

There was no puddle where it was parked?

I'd check your oil and see if it looks like a milkshake or if the level is way overfilled.

Was the level High? When my HG went if I checked the oil right after driving it would be an emulsion. If it sat a while it would just look like oil but overfilled (oil floats).

Do a pressure test, you can get a loaner from most auto parts and it's not hard to do.

If you can't find the leak when its off try checking when its running and engine is hot. (water pump running)

If you have an autozone near by they will rent you a pressure tester. You pay them then they pay you back when you return it.
