The A/C compressor clutch is not getting power but works great if I bypass the clutch relay...blows cold air and pressures are good. Has "U1113-LOST A/C PRESSURE MESSAGE" hard code.
I do not have access to a DRB-III or similar scan tool and Snap-On does not give me any details on sensor readings. I had one mech tell me the serial data for the A/C goes through the instrument cluster...so I checked and the wiring harness and pins look good. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

I've cleared it several times and it immediately kicks back in. I am leaning against a BCM/PCM failure as it is the only code present. I am also trying very hard to not have to pay a $200 diagnostic fee!

I read something about it showing after a PCM flash so the likelihood of it being a PCM issue is pretty good. You bypassed the relay and all was good, so is the relay okay?

Relay tests good, and I swapped it with another for good measure. In any case, the PCM is not sending a signal to the relay.

I would want have it scanned properly before I even start thinking about a PCM or BCM.
Besides the dealer are there any other shops that might have a better or similar DRB scanner around that would not charge ya 2 hun $ ?

As I said, I used a SnapOn scanner (don't remember what model, but fairly new) and did not get any info on sensor readings. Nor could I order the compressor to engage...I believe you have to have the DRB to do that.

Looks like a trip to a shop with the appropriate scan tool is required. I know how you feel, I've been driving around for 2 months with an airbag light (I had the recall work done a while back, too) because I'm avoiding the inevitable.
