So, I left my sunroof open night before last and it rained:biggun:. I woke up to the horrible sound of my horn blowing at 6am. Someone stopped by and unhooked my battery and it stopped. When hooking the battery back up my Jeep starts but won't shut off for about 30 seconds after shutting off and taking keys out. My dashboard lights are also flashing and clicking. In taking my fuse panel off I realized it was soaked:025:. Soooo, now what do I do. I have left it to dry out for a day and it still is not working right. Please help me!!!

ouch I have been there I had a ripped weather stripping on my drivers door....I had the same thing as you happen to me but on top of the horn and the jeep not shutting off right my lights would stay on....the horn my guess the horn relay got wet and a few pins on the BCM where the BCM meets up with the junction block. all I have the say just let everything dry good and you should be good. if you want you could take out the junction block and BCM to dry the out the only thing it can be a pain to pull

Thanks Teckman02! I will give it some more time before getting too discouraged.

Water & Electrical not good! You can use a computer Dust off can of compressed air to dry off any effected electrical connector for starters.
Similar to a horn that gets wet and sound like..soaked weakness...heat & time is required to get it operational & sounding right again.
I would when not raining, leave windows down a bit & on the driver's side floor matt place a small ceramic heater or what ever u got to get some heat up in there....

Thanks everyone for your responses. It must have really poured, plus it has been so humid and raining every day since. Needless to say I pulled it in the garage, put a fan on it and drove her for the first time again!! I am so grateful to have found this place!

Holy Ouch!

Can you park it in the hot sun, with all windows and sunroof open and a fan or 2 blowing around full blast on, under and around the dash and seats?
to air dry...
I think you will be alright if you can get it to air dry...
