5066964AD seems to be the correct part # for my 06 Jeep Liberty, but I can't figure out why my rear wiper is different. The new one won't fit on the arm.

I just replaced mine a few days ago and bought a standard off-the-shelf 11" blade at AutoZone. (It wasn't in their computer as even being available to order for my 2007 Jeep Liberty, by the way.) It was like doing one of those sliding ring puzzles you had as a kid to get the sucker on there, but after nearly freezing my keister off in the parking lot (it was 5 degrees F at the time), I hear a very satisfying "click" as it settled into place. I reused the old clip but one of the two or three clips which had been included in the box with the new blade looked exactly the same. Maybe when the temperature gets above freezing I will swap them out. Pay VERY close attention when you take the old one off. Removing it was so simple I didn't take note of any details, which is what set me up for the brain teaser installing the new one.

I just drove 80 miles round-trip in a near blizzard to take my housemate to a computer store (emergency; she needs her computer for working this weekend) and I had the rear wiper going the whole time. If it was going to fall off I'm pretty sure it would have done so by now. :laughing1:

My rear wiper is gone! The only thing left is the arm that comes out of the middle of the door that has the hook!

I also went to AutoZone and was very frustrated when the rear wiper didn't show up on their computer.

**Also now the arm sticks up a little, not resting on the little holder thing. So when I go to close the glass, I have to hold the arm out of the way. It's irritating.

Been using the 12 inch blades from my local store (A&A auto) since I bought my Jeep. Never had issues with it and stores fine when off.

I believe it's an anco blade as there the only brand I can find locally with a blade that small. Also despite all auto parts in my area carry Anco and many other brands. A&A is the only one that carries the 12 inch.

I thought I was run gonna into the same issue with my Wife's 07 Compass but luckily It shares the same rear blade as the KJ.

Went to the Jeep Dealer parts department and got 05066964AB in a MOPAR paper package and that is the parts # on it. That was a couple of years ago.

Then I went to the dealer parts dpt about a week ago and got WBRW0011AB in a plastic MOPAR pack. They must have changed the part # and packaging or something as both came from the Jeep Dealer parts department and say MOPAR all over them.

They both fit and work fine.

I put on a new OEM rear blade, and the darn thing doesn't make full contact over ont he driver's side of the back window. Is there some common trick that I've overlooked?

I'd make sure all the parts on the arm are lubed and moving freely. I'd also check that it actually snapped into place correctly. When I did mine about three months ago I thought I had it installed right a couple times but smelled a rat when it just didn't seem "right". When I finally got it in there properly I heard it click into place and was sure.

When I replaced mine with a winter blade I had to swap the connector from the oem blade to get it to lock on, just had to be careful when I was taking the connector off.

Thanks, I'll eyeball it again.

I found a trico blade at Pep Boys that I've been using for 3 years now, don't recall the size but it was prob the 12 inch. It fit fine and has been working well for me all these years

Rear blade

I bought several of the rear wiper blades from Rock Auto about a year ago. If I remember correctly they were a closeout deal, but it wouldn't hurt to look!
