Just put some kelly safari trs on cherokee rims . They fit
Great just need to trim the tie rod bolts below the nut .
I'm running a 2.5in daystar lift and have a custom built
Front bumper and they clear with no rubbing

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
I would not cut those tie rod end studs, weakens the stud and with those nyloc nuts make it hell to remove later on.If you run aftermarket tie rod ends with non-nyloc nuts(castle nut and cotter pin) it's a different story but applying heat(cut off wheel and such) to that stud weakens it.

They are castle nut and cotter pin just took off 1/4 inch off of the very end
Looks good. And not to worry, the spindle makes for a very good heat sink, heat from a cut off wheel will do absolutely no harm to the tie rod end. If you think you might get it so hot as to melt the nyloc nut, you could remove that first. But I bet it didn't get all that hot, or you would have seen some oozing goop.
