Does anyone have any information on where the reverse wire is located under the dash or kick plate and what is the color code?
I am installing an aftermarket Eclipse radio and it needs a reverse light input.
I am still looking into the speed sensor input as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you purchased the right harness for radio install, the wires are there.

I have found the speakers, ground and power wires were the same on the plug but I need the speed sensor wire location and reverse light wire input. These wires do not go to the factory plug.
I also have not found the illumination wire on the plug. I used a voltmeter on the plug and did not find it.
I used a adapter harness so I wouldn't disturb the factory harness.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

As I posted, you need the right harness. Logic dictates that the factory nav needs all the same wires therefore the wires must be there. This is a CanBus system, best advised to not eff with it if you don't know what ur doing.

Point taken!
Have installed many head units and understand the bus system and how it works, that being said I re installed the factory stereo.
Thought about just eliminating the speed sensor input and grounding the emergency brake input to bypass that input but the illumination wire is another story.
Thanks
