So sorry I'll miss it this year! My one trip to the states will be to Nashville this year coming up in September. I'm still pushing for a Caribbean meetup!

Hahaha that would be one long vacation! But imagine the fun playing on a shipping container bound for paradise!
The USN took me to St. Thomas free of charge. I had a really great day there. I had a really great evening, too, at least from what I can remember.

Yeah, pretty much. Typically it's at the same place and it's the Fri-Sun prior to Columbus Day.

I'll do a detailed write-up later but here's a slideshow with the pics & vids I have of the trip.

GREAT time - did some really fun wheeling on a couple of pretty challenging trails. Was dry & dusty so no issues with mud - except for one spot where I was pulled out to prevent sliding down the mountain - but it's not a real wheeling expedition unless the tow strap comes out, right? :waytogo:

Anyway, no damage (new rock rails paid for themselves on the first good hit!) and new friends in the Jeep community.

So for now, here's the pictorial evidence:

Super-bummed that we couldn't make it. We still don't have the front diff back. :(

Glad you got to go, and hopefully you'll go again next year... and hopefully we can make it this time too. :D

Sorry, Jayme. Not having the KJ operational has to be killing you. But yes, next year we'll do it again. We found some new trails in the north end that are largely untouched by Jeeps and the like. Very remote and a lot of variety.

Here's the pics with narrative/commentary. Jerry (HoosierJeeper) posted his pics and commentary too.
