I do not have many pictures just because I can't stand how it looks right now with the factory tires/wheels lifted but that will be changed next week.

Also the pics I do have are from my crappy cell phone so probably not the best representation of the lift.

The first pick was the night the install was complete (the camber etc is way off you can tell from looking at the tires).

How are your CVs doing with the 3.5" lift?

You're right... it definitely needs some meaty tires on it but it's already looking good :D

How are your CVs doing with the 3.5" lift?

CVs will be fine at 3.5 inches,
all of the ones that I've done I set up to be 3.50-3.75 when settled in. Mines over 4 inches and still running stock CVs , 184,000 on the left one, with over 163,000 lifted miles. right ones been replaced due to torn boot from hitting a stick or something

Im nowhere near 3.5in. Sitting at 22 all around. Did those jba 4in rear keep it at the same height with iso out?

24.5 inches ????
Hopefully that's before alignment and settling
way too high
going to have a lot of spring/UCA contact
Did you tighten everything after it was on the ground ?
Been running stock length sway bar links while lifted for over 165,000 miles and no issues

The alignment went great. And I torqued everything to specification. With the spring contact.. it seems ok. I am going to re-measure in a week or two to see where it settles to.

We've tried at that height on a couple of them and not possible to run even if it is 2 wheel drive
maybe you'd better measure again :icon_wink::icon_wink:

Didn't ask if you tightened everything to specs, did you tighten UCAs, sway bar etc on the ground with full weight on them?

Well now you have the bushings on a bind
The Jeep needs to have full weight before you tighten any part with bushings in them ( UCAs, sway bar etc ) If tightened before full weight is on them it will keep the suspension up more until the bushings let go and twist down

I re-torqued the front end and re-measure. I still have just under 24” in front but I only have about 150 mil on it so I am thing it will settle a little more?
I am going to re-torqued the rear Saturday.

I am finally going to be able to lift the l'il Mule- I was thinking of OME or Tommudd's eco lift. My thoughts were that if I go higher than 2-2.5" longer links / extensions are needed.
My question is if I spend the xtra $$ for the 3.5" eco lift do I have to worry about steering extensions or anything like that? :think: I also noticed that eco lift comes with a tri-link. My rear end is a 5 link. I have also noticed that my 2012 KK is higher and has more space in the wheel wells than all your guys KJ's cause at stock I am already running Cooper Discovery ATR's 245/75-R16 no trimming/ rubbing and looks like it could almost handle another 1" of tire. :think:

I don't think the Econo lift comes with a Tri-link. I know the KJ version has a the Ylink extension. I Guess I can't really say much about the KK Econo lift since I don't have that one but I think it's just clevis spacers, top plates, a-arms, Ironman springs/shocks rear JBA springs and Bilstein rear shocks.

I know that didn't answer your question about if anything needs extended or not. that I don't know with the KK., sorry.
