I ran 235/85R16 MT/R (2 sets) for 100k miles with a 2.5" Frankenlift for CRD. I do acknowledge UT is not as ******** as other states however.

I talked to a guy today that was running them with a 2.5" lift. Imo a 31x1050 looks a lot better. Just depends on how much trimming you are planning to do.

So JBA parts can't handle the Moab. Then what can?
They can, lots of been out there and did them with JBA arms.
Some just like to try and be funny contributing nothing much overall

How many inches of lift did you have then. And what's your measurements center of hub to fender now. My SFA swap is coming real soon.

With 1" lift:

So if 235/85/16's won't fit, then what's the best size if you want more circumference but stock width?

Basically I'm looking to gain an inch of ground clearance with new tires. And I don't care if they're just as skinny as the stock ones.

P.S. I looked at 215/85/r16's, and I don't like those. I'd only gain .5" of lift and I'd lose about .4" of width. Not a good trade IMO. Does anybody make a 225/85/r16?

Going to be real hard to gain one inch of ground clearance with just tires and one inch of lift
You'll need a tire that is 2 inches taller than what you have now , just start going through different tires/sizes on TireRack and see what floats your boat

Turns out you're right. What I want is a 225/85/r16, which doesn't exist.

So might as well get some width if I can't get height. 245/70 it is
