How dificult is it to remove the stock roof rack from a 2004 KJ Renegade? Any advice on a brand of safari rack? Yes, I realize that it depends on personal taste, but I need to find out who makes high quality racks and go from their.

I have an 04 Renegade as well. I left the roof rack on, but took off the nasty black trim crap. Real easy to do! I put a basket on the rack whenever I need the extra space.
Or throw a Thule on top and hitch type carrier for more gear.
