Not much you can do to them so everyone is going to be about the same
Well unless you believe the wild advertising claims of the hot air suckers (CAI's) , or the exhaust manufactures etc that say install our product and gain 25 %.
Install a chip and the computer learns around it so yep everyone is going to be about 210

I figure the custom tuning I got is maybe (MAYBE) good for 5-10 hp max, if that. There is definitely more pep to it than bone stock, but butt dyno's are horribly inaccurate.

Throttle body spacers? Port and polish? None of these things do much to the 3.7? Not saying your wrong, but their must be some mods that in conjunction can get me closer to 250? What your saying is what I have heard a number of times, but hopefully somebody has some fresh ideas that I can explore....

That is one route that I have considered as a possibility...Im not looking for a one and done deal...maybe custom tuning, CAI, Chip, and throttle body port'n'polish/spacer combined?

If you really want more effective HP, swap for a 4.7L.

What is the expense involved in that, ball park. If you have had it done, breakdown the cost of engine/labor please? What is the fuel efficiency/HP/reliability difference?

Looked into this a couple years back and came to the conclusion "The Juice is not worth the squeeze".:deal:

Re-gear the bad boy if you want some more pep. Only way you can be sure you are getting more torque to the tires.

Another option is picking up a 2012 or newer Wrangler with the Pentastar V-6, 285 HP stock! Get the Rubicon package and all worries are solved.

I replaced all my injectors with nitrous fogger nozzles and a 90lb bottle. Gets about 649hp to the rear wheels. Only bad thing is it only gets 2 miles to the bottle. ROFLMMFAO.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner.

Besides doing a engine swap, which can run alot of $$$, or tearing apart the engine and have custom work done and custom pistons made(very big $$$$) with custom tuning for the PCM there is nothing you can do to get more then 210hp out of the 3.7.

Your 2 options are Hypertech canned tuning or finding if your PCM is compatible with an SCT. If it is, then you can get it custom tuned for anything you do to it.
