Did the KK ever come with lockers? What are these dash icons?

If you do the cluster self-test by holding the trip reset in as you turn the key from acc to on (not start), you'll see two icons on the right above the coolant dial. It looks like they are diff related. Someone else suggested it might be for the brake lock differential. Anyone here know more about it? See the attached image to see what I am talking about.

Do you have select trac or command trac? But I'd be more concerned about the temp and RPMs

It's possible that the KK and wrangler use the same cluster.

far as I know. Only the wrangler can come from the factory with lockers.

I too have always wondered what the heck that was for. Considering there is no icon for an "X" front and back, my prediction is that it's an indicator for that end of the drivetrain NOT working properly.

So, one of those combined with "SERV 4WD"... will show you that your front or rear axle is not working.

That's what it is.
