If you drop it down you will need to align it ASAP again as it will chnage the camber and toe settings.
Why I got firestone "lifetime" alignment.
.and if you have a marginally bad cv a lift will expose it quickly. I've been running between 22 and 22.5 and have replaced my right cv twice, well 3 times actually, i think they sneaked a new one in a re-manned box at NAPA the 2nd time. I was at 23 for a while too a couple years ago and my original cv didn't complain. Anyway, some have a cv half bad and a lift just points it out for you. I only had 40K on mine when I lifted, so that's why it lasted a while I think. Just my experience. :burnout:
