problem after lift

I'll probably be lifting around april or so just to have some decently warm weather to work in. (plus i'll have more funds saved up so I won't be completely clearing out my bank :rofl

I have a garage with EVERYTHING to do EVERYTHING but a lift.

Not on a KJ without a alignment rack/machine.Solid front axle vehicles sure but not a IFS with adjustable camber/caster.

Lol didn't you lift arctic's libby there? So you must have almost everything...

I go to STS tire and auto to do my alignments. I do them myself and it cost me two large pies and a bottle of soda. The manager is a good friend of mine. But lifts and gears I do at my friends garage. It has all my tools there. About 70Gs worth of tools.

Ok so enough hijacking of my thread lol

Now 2 days after alignment and sitting at 22.5" all around im hearing a low pitched knocking related to speed from the front driver side. Its not too loud and is not constant. I'm guessing it's the cv. Should I be worried or do anything about it?

Not surprising ... You are over 3 inches ... I had the same issues.

Lowering the front solved it for me ... or cut CV's

Well to my knowledge stock height is @19.5" so its exactly 3". I've also read many times on this forum of people at 22.5" after lift. Well guess I could remove clevis spacers till springs settle it just doesn't seem that bad.

After April 12th 2002 the stock hieght is 19" +/- 7/8"(20mm).So you could have been at just over 18" brand new.

Yeah but at 60,000 I was sitting 19" from what i saw all stock.
Reguardless it's makin noise so bye bye clevis till springs settle I guess.

Me too ... you just didn't read the threads where people had issues ..lol. Usually, you (myself included) don't find those until after you have a problem

Haha yeah I got ya just wishing it didn't have to apart again.

If you drop it down you will need to align it ASAP again as it will chnage the camber and toe settings.
