I have a '02 and there is no difference.I also drove for over a year without both front CV's,front diff,and front driveshaft.

In 2002, there was a recall on liberties because they did not have any retainer for the unit bearings. Fact.

I think not since I worked at a Jeep dealership when the KJ 1st came out and into the 3rd production year.

And from the fact I have never recieved,known about,or can find any recall about front hub bearings.


Part # 52128352AB is for a '02 KJ front hub bearing,right or left for non-ABS,2wd or 4wd.

Part # 52128692AA is the right hub bearing for a '02 KJ with ABS,2wd or 4wd.

Part # 52128693AA is the left hub bearing for a '02 KJ with ABS,2wd or 4wd.

Looks like 2012...

yeah, date of recall.

I conceded that they are the same, but was just explaining WHY I thought they were different...and it's because there was a recall on stock replacement parts that were not acceptable replacements that ARE different than any other unit bearing available for them. Simply showing why I was mistaken.

That is a aftermarket recall for a aftermarket part,not a Chrysler recall for a OEM part.

This recall is being conducted by Timken, not Chrysler/Jeep.

Yes. but it doesn't much matter as I was mistaken, and was simply showing why I was mistaken.

So let me get this straight, cause I'm a little confused after reading all the posts. Does the JBA kit include everything I need, or am I going to need more parts on top of that (aside from the shaved CV's.)
