Selling a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 as built, with the following history:
(Location: Ridgecrest, CA 93555)
-2003 Khaki Liberty Sport 5 speed manual transmission
-Regularly maintained (all fluids, spark plugs, belt, brakes, etc.)
-Currently has 109,000 miles
-Water pump replaced at 60,000 miles
-Full OME suspension (prof. installed at 100K, so practically new!)
-New clutch installed at 105,000 due to a bad bearing
-Cragar Soft 8 wheels
-Kelly Safari ATR tires (8,000 miles, look and ride like new)
-Overhead EVIC console
-OEM fog lights
-OEM Front tow hooks
-Class III receiver hitch
-Cobra 75WXST CB with 4' Firestik antenna
-Never involved in an accident as far as I know (I will run the Carfax or equivalent for a serious buyer)
PRICE: $5000
This has been my daily driver/fun vehicle for the past six years. Recently, our growing family has forced me into something a little bigger, so it's time to find my Jeep a good home. In the past 6 years, the only failures I've had have been the water pump and a throwout bearing on the clutch. I went ahead and had the whole clutch replaced, since it had 100,000 miles on it. The Jeep drives and shifts smoothly with no mechanical problems.
The only signs of wear on the Jeep are some very mild trail scratches and touch up on the passenger side (parking lot door dings), and a small discolored area on the rear bumper from (I suspect) an over-zealous mall crawler. The bumper trim is not deformed, but it appears to have come in contact with something blunt. The buyer deserves to know this vehicle has been used off-road; however, the majority of its life has been on the highway as a daily commuter, and it has no mechanical defects or damage from off-road use. There is no apparent body rust.
POTENTIAL BUYERS: I am located in Ridgecrest, CA, about 2 hours from the Los Angeles metro area. I am willing to drive up to 4 hours on a case-by-case basis to deliver the Jeep. If shipping is requested, it will be at the buyer's expense. Payment must be made before the Jeep will be delivered or shipped.
CA BUYERS ONLY: I will include a smog check as part of the purchase if sold to a CA resident.
