Hey all,

Details: Jeep Liberty Sport 2003 3.7L

I live in Quebec, Canada. The temperature is currently -17C/1F, very cold.

I know the more CCA, the better.

Could you recommend quality brands?

The current battery installed is terrible quality, purchased from Costco back in 2011, Kirkland brand. I won't make that mistake again!

Thanks a great deal in advance!

I'd stay away from any non Platinum Diehard, I have a Gold one and it's the 3rd or 4th one of just that brand.

I Agree with Wheeee32

I've got red top Optimas in both my full size Dodge, and the Liberty. The Dodge is going on at least 7 years, (Jeep's on it's third) and here in the AZ summer, if you get three out of a battery, it was a good one.

Can't say how they are in the cold....

Best part : No corrosion or acid leaking (It's a "dry cell")
Worst part: They are $150-$200 (I'm cheap)

The 7 year old Optima you have is the old style, made in the USA,the new one is made in mexico and your lucky you got that long out of it.

My Odyssey is almost 8 years old now and still puts out over 1000cca's and is only rated for 825cca's.Comes with a 10 year warranty, the 1st 4 are 100% free replacement. It sat on a shelf for 2 yeasrs before I bought it.
