I typically keep the pressure set at 33psi as recommended. I air down for off road traction of course, but I have heard a lot of different opinions on what to run the tires at around my area. What do you set yours at, and why?

I keep mine at max for the tires. Less rolling resistance makes for a little more mpgs. Ut of course there is always circumstances that call for a change in pressure, sand mud snow ice etc.

If your running P metric tires keep them at the recommended 33psi,a few more psi won't hurt but do not go to the max psi as that will greatly reduce traction and lower will build to much heat and you'll have a blowout at high speed.

If your running LT tires that is a whole different ball game.

Load C LT 245 75 16 duratracs, no bumpers or winch, near stock weight. chalk test put me at about 33 - 35. 37 was too much but ran it for a while.

Typically 35 psi...But, here in Colorado - at altitude - atmospheric pressure changes tend to mess with an exact pressure.
