You checked/aired up the spare too? That has a sensor in it also.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I don't have those. My eyes and my hands can tell if my pressure is low. And I have one of those handy little pen pressure meters I use every once in a while.

Can you get them taken out?

Oh yeah and x2 on checking the spare.

In the United States, the United States Department Of Transportation (NHTSA) released the FMVSS No. 138, which requires an installation of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System to all new passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks, and buses that have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 4,536 kg (10,000 lbs.) or less, except those vehicles with dual wheels on an axle, as of 2007.

You can take them out, but it's basically the same principle as a cat, federal law says no.

Yeah, its a Liberty thing. Mine does it when all my tires are at 35, give or take a little. Just do your best to ignore it. Especially if none of them are giving you any problems or concerns..

If I remeber correctly, not only do they go off when a tire is low, it is designed to throw the warning when the presure is too high as well.

If you start at 35PSI cold (a handy trick to increase milage - and a good idea if you're loaded down) it is possible that when the tire warms up, you've exceeded the upper limit.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
A flashing TPMS light means there is a fault in the system like a dead battery in a sensor or a bad reciever.A steady on TPMS light means you have a low tire.

Elevation plays hell with the TPMS sensors also. Here in CO at 6200' we have to over inflate most tires by 3-6psi to keep the TPMS lights off.Though GM and nissian are the main problem companies for that issue.

I had to get a sensor in mine replaced, $127 at the dealer. Mine was constant on, but the pressure was correct.
