So how about planning an East meets West trip next Spring or summer ( 2013) for all of us Jeep owners.

Somewhere in the middle of the Northern States ?
Where all of us Canadians and you Americans can get together and do some off roading, eat great food and check out everyone's Jeeps. The trails will be stocker friendly.
Ry and I figure we'd post this now to give everybody interested enough time to mark it down on their calendars to make this happen.
I'll start looking at places and areas of interest and keep everybody posted as time goes by.

It would be really cool to try and get as many Jeep Liberty owners as possible to attend for this trip.
Try and set a Guinness book of records for the most amount of Jeep Liberty's in attendance!

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas feel free to post areas of interest, activities you would like to do, contests, etc.!
I'll get in touch with all my contacts to see what I can come up with as far as prizes etc.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

Jayme, you've taken your Libby to off-road parks, etc. all over the Midwest (I looked thru your pics here on the forum last night - makes me want to wheel NOW!)

Anyway, any recommendations? SMORR in Missouri? Attica, Indiana? Nicolet in Wisconsin?

Great idea Ry & Jen! :party52:

In interest of keeping things centrally located for everyone, my initial thought would be to try something in the northern US states - MN, ND seem like the better options... unless our friends up north have something available to us in the southern areas of Manitoba or maybe Saskatchewan.

Nicolet NF in NE Wisconsin may not be a bad option if people from the west aren't too opposed to traveling this far east. It's definitely stocker-friendly, and has the potential to have a TON of areas to camp. Depending on the size of the group could delegate where we go - I know a couple of really great spots.

We've got our work cut out for us!
Neither Ry' nor I have ever been to any of these places so we want to research everything possible about these areas to get a good idea of what's all out there and the activities available for everybody interested in joining this journey!

Keep the ideas and places of interest coming folks.

No need to be jealous - save your pennies and join us instead! We're talking about something that's over a year away still. You can make it happen. ;)

James (seebass) said he has to deploy.

Would people be interested in doing a road trip/tour of an area of interest as a group?
Perhaps reserve a group campsite?

Just starting to bounce the ideas off of those interested.
