2008 Liberty MIL staying on

Hope that someone can help me with this ...... my MIL was on yesterday when I started my Jeep and would not go off. I hadn't driven in a couple of days, but it started & drove just fine. There seemed to be no problem with engine, but I can't get the darn thing to go off!!
Anyone have any idea what this could be?? and how do I fix it??

You need to get the code(s) pulled.Could be anything.

Go to AutoZone, they will pull it for free.

Could be that the gas cap was loose... most autoparts stores will check the OBD codes for free.
