I would stop, get out, open their door and tell them in my own special way to exit the vehicle and walk!
And if they didn't exit quick enough I'd give them a helping hand exiting my vehicle...
Some people Eh?

Hahah yeah. I actually just re-sprayed them today and the squeaking is gone for now. We'll see how it goes...

If you're constantly respraying them, I'd look to see how worn out they are. They should be good for a while after being lubed up.

They do look pretty worn out. But honestly I'm not THAT experienced (it's my first vehicle) so I wouldn't exactly know what a worn bushing looks like.

So mine started this a couple days ago and I haven't had the time or light to get under there and look.
I work nights, so when I'm up, it's dark and cold and I don't want to deal with it.
How easy are they to get to? And is it common that they squeak only when both wheels hit something (i.e. speed bump)? I've tested it and there's no noise if only one wheel goes over the bump.
Also, I have skid plates. Is that going to get in the way of spraying them easily?
Thanks!

Skids don't cover them as soon as you look up under you will see them no problem

Somewhere between being sane and insane!

You should never have to lube them.I never did once in 8 years/68,000 miles.Just sprayed them real good with high pressure water/soap every sunday(when I washed my Jeep) and they never made any noise.

I figured I try some polyurethane bushings to see if it improves on road handling any!

well did they? i feel like the libby needs some serious handling improvements. i dont turn through the corners as much as i roll through them lol.

After much creaking and popping over bumps, I finally took my sway bar off yesterday to check the bushings. They seem to be in good shape. I greased them, as well as applying anti-seize to all the bolts before torquing everything back on. The Jeep drives noticeably better now, especially over bumps. No creaking or popping so far :)

My question is, did I make a mistake greasing the bushings? The grease I used is safe for the rubber bushings as far as I know. If not, I can easily replace them later.

Hows your springs and shocks? Those have more to do with handling than most anything else

I spray them as well and it keeps 'em quiet.

They were inexpensive.
I also just bought/received new steering rack bushings as the drivers side is completely disintegrated! Too bad I can't find those in polyurethane!

Any luck with the daystar bushings? I bought some Moogs (K200161) only to find that they were to small to totally fit around the sway bar. If your daystars are working I might just go that direction.
