ok so im looking to get some soft 8s within the next few months and just wanna ask first if there is anything i should worry about.

how are they with rusting? as well as any problems with bending?

how much backspacing should i get? im not lifted and dont plan for a while.

anyother things im missing let me know.

and does anyone know of a better price than at summit racing where they charge $75 each.

thanks

Plenty of threads about this very thing. And lifts and exhaust also.

Crager soft 8's is a name brand, just like procomp steel wheels and most american racing steel wheels. They all are made by one company which is Unique Steel.Try discount Tires for the Unique Steel series 297 wheels(soft 8's) for alot cheaper.

Steel.......

Heavy, cheap, takes a beating, bends instead of cracking but easily pounded back into shape to make it home

Cast aluminum............

Cheap(but twice as expensive as steel),weaker, cracks before bending,if not cleaned often will corrode worse then steel rims and leak.

Forged alloy..........

Heavy(not as heavy as steel though),very strong, very expensive, will usually bend before breaking, less likey to suffer bad corrosion then cast alloy.
