so i replaced both caliper bracket, brake pads, all 4 caliper pins, and made sure that they had a lot of grease, and moved without friction. The downfall is that they are still grinding and now the passenger front rotor back side(closest to engine) has a score mark on it.

Now im not sure what the problem is.....

Also when the vehicle was jacked up and wheels on the drivers side spun with no noise and no friction. The passenger side had friction and a grinding noise...

Any and all suggestions!

Is there a way to test that?

When i compressed the cylinder to replace the pads i had no problem at all! Either side.

Yes
They can go bad and collapse
Or it could be a bad piston on the caliper ,something
heat related
After all the time and effort you would have been
better off with a new set of loaded calipers and
new SS braided lines

thats what i have been thinking myself, brakes are a real pain...

How old is the Jeep?
What I would do
Replace all rubber lines with SS braid
Try it out ,worth wild up grade and can not
hurt also cost is about $75
If they still act up then new "loaded" calipers
If they still act up bring it to a mechanic

its a 2002 with 81000 miles
well the drivers side brake line was replaced right before i bought it.
not to SS but its still new.
I was planning on upgrading to SS
then why would i have to get a loaded caliper when i already bought all the surrounding parts?

Get away from the master cylinder unless the problem
Is at all 4 corners
It will effect all 4 if it is going bad
1 corner will have a problem at that corner
Which brings us back to piston , scored wall
or bad line

Did you have your rotors refaced when you put the new pads on? If not, that could be part of the problem.

When you put on the new rotors take a good look at the pads, they could be messed up from trying to "form" to the old rotors.

there is only 1 rear brake line?

Now if i took the scored rotor which is on the passenger side, and switched it to the drivers side, and vise versa.

Would that tell me if the caliper is bad or just the rotor??

Its getting kind of tedious, buying parts and getting me further away from the problem.
Ive bought 2 new pair of brake pads, and here in germany a set is almost $70..... Kind of pricey. It also doesnt help that everything i try doesnt get me any closer to the fix.

Now will i have to replace the pads again since ive only put maybe 15 miles on these to see if the problem was still there, and small trips???

Also i have another set of pads that i maybe put 250 miles on. Are they still reusable or should i just junk them??

if you're interested, ford has some new SS brake line replacements that do not require any special tools to bend or anything - can convert over SS to the new style line for ..

well it cost me about 75 bucks to replace all the brake lines on my power-sux ford after the steel lines rotted out and ruptured due to a salt water soak a few years ago

not 100% that they'll work out.. or that the Ford dealer in your area has the lines but they should as the lines come spooled up similar to vac hose

would be worth a shot to look into and would save you a chunk of change
