Luckily, I have had no problems with the Liberty lately. I just finished changing the oil, filter and air filter. While changing the air filter I noticed a little sponge-type filter in the air box. It's oily, and I think it's time to change it. The problem is, I don't know what its called. I searched on here and found one thread that referred to it as the "PCV valve hose". I can't find any replacement for that part. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement?

I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

I did see where one guy got a replacement at the dealer but he said it was over priced for what it is. One guy bought a lawnmower filter and cut it to size. Other than that every post just suggested cleaning it.

Oh, and apparently everyone refers to it as Sponge Bob.

Ya "that other guy" might have been me .. IRC they wanted 6 bucks for it at the dealership ...lol. I made a new one out of similarly porous filter material. Long live Sponge Bob!
