On Sunday we often have classic cars show up in large numbers over at the Timm'y Lot. I often drop in to see the folks & rides and enjoy a coffee with em.
Wonder how many like Tim Hortons and also may have similar experiences?
Oh I found a new extra tall coffee holder too....

We don't have any car shows at Timmy's around here, but I am a frequent visitor!

I love my Ice Cap's in the summer, and the English Toffee Cappuccino is awesome. The regular coffee is not bad either ;)

I stay away from Tims because they have crappy lids that won't snap back and stay open. McDonalds' medium is the same size as an extra large and they have good lids! hahaha

Yes I hate that about Tim Hortons. Its always a challenge driving down the road with an open cup of hot coffee making sure that you bounce with the bumps as you hope that your legs come out of the whole thing unharmed :killit:

Timmy's now have dome lids. (the ones with little hole in it) Ask for them.
I remember about a year ago complaining about their snap back lids. How can you sell good coffee and go through drive though only to get drink spilled in vehicle?
I took a photo of a dome lid and sent it to head office. Suddenly out here they are available now!

Another way to deal with their lids is to have thermal cup in Jeep all the time so
a) it will stay hot;
b) the legs will stay unharmed;
c) hey, it is Tims coffee :)

Will they fill up the thermal cup for you or do you have to do that yourself? I know that in gas stations you can bring in your own cups but I don't know how Tims do it. I have tons of thermal cups for them to use LOL

Indeed they will fill a thermal cup. I've done it lots of times. I think you actually get an "eco" discount as well. :)
