The Jeep was just hungry for some Japanese snacks! Hope everything in small claims works out for you. I wonder if there is anything else your insurance can do? If he was insured at the time of the incident, they should pay for it, especially if he is at fault. I think that's how it works in MA, anyway.

That may be how it works in the states, but down here if you're friends with the girl at the insurance agency then they don't have to tell me whether or not he was insured at the time of the accident, even though according to the police records he was.... It's pretty lazy and corrupt down here.

In other news, I had to reschedule my court date because they still can't find him. My boss may kill me for having to take another day off work (I'm the only employee so it's not exactly the same as switching shifts). Oh do I love life in paradise...

You should be able to sopena the insurance company also then the judge can force them to say if he was insured by them at the time of the accident or not.

For all those who havn't had the privilege of driving on St. Thomas(or any V.I. i've been on for that matter), it's a dog eat dog, shat or get off the pot kinda driving scene over there. A minor fender bender wouldn't even turn some of those guys heads let alone get them to stop. and the cops:happy175:

Damn I miss that Isle.
oh yea, the place I was catching lobster was Sprat Bay, not Prat Bay. been Google-Earthing.
