Aussie Locker

Hello to all, great site. This is my first Jeep, a 2006 Liberty,3.7,auto Command-Trac, w/tow pkg. added tow hooks and OEM skids. My ? is has anyone installed an Aussie Locker to the front diff? Would this be streetable, this KJ will see limited off road use. Thanks for any and all replies.

the front axle in the KJ is already weak. putting in an auto locker is sure to spell trouble. some people have used them in the rear with success though and at least one with bad experiences.

Thanks for the input, I'll leave it alone and spend $ on something else.

Your best bet would be the Detroit TrueTrac in the front D30A,it's a LSD but gear based and the best on the market.Works great in the front of a KJ.
