Greetings all!
I was getting hit over the head with WAY too much crazy gearhead talk and complete tear-down / build-up project descriptions from old school Jeep guys on another well-known forum. All good and fun to read, but I was THRILLED to find this site the other day. GREAT info from / for all the KK owners out there!

Me:
2000-2004: '92 Cherokee Laredo
2004 - 2009: '01 Cherokee Sport
Current: 2009 Liberty Limited

Mods on the KK:
Deep tint (on top of factory privacy glass)
K&N FIPK
Magnaflow exhaust

Will upload some pics soon

...Which is no easy trick this time of year! I'm in MA, and we just had that storm drop almost 2' on us last week. My jeep went from being shiny and happy to sand&salt-covered and sad. Black with chrome everything is NOT supposed to look gray.

Yeah I hear ya, I don't even bother trying to keep it clean in the winter, just use the squeegee at the gas station to keep it so I can see out the windows!

Besides, they say salt is ineffective at causing rust below the freezing point, so why go through the car wash and blast it all into the crevasses where it will come back to life in the spring?

I don't know if that is true or not but it is a good way to explain away my laziness ;)
