My #2 setting does not work on my blower. This ***** since it is the setting i use most this time of year. I did some research on the forum and i got some good leads but i just wanted to make sure this is the right way to handle the situation.

I have a 2005 liberty sport

Thanks in advance for the help!

Somewhere in here is the part number for the Sebring resistor block, that works in the liberty and better quality. If someone has the part # handy lets get it into the How to.
Will look later at home and see if I have it handy in links.

go to Deacon Chrysler on the east side of Cleveland, they are very nice and wont beat you up on their prices.

The hardest part is getting that little red clip thing off.

I'm about to do this to my sisters KJ too. She lost setting #1 now #2.
Still debating on if I should get a factory style one or just go to Autozone and get one.

before replacing it take it out and put it back in. Sometimes it's just a matter of re-seating the connections. At least it worked on mine.

I've never had to replace any window regulators or resistors on mine, some seem to go through both like drinking water. Must be the better quality earlier models

I replaced the one on our 05 with the Sebring one, Tom's right on part number BWD 1040, seems to have slight faster blower speeds on all setting with the sebring resistor over the stock one. Guy at Advanced Auto didn't believe me until he pulled it from shelf and compared it.
TJKJ you may have replaced more Sebring cause they were a problem but the BWD part is supposed to be upgraded to last longer.

They all have been that crap bought at advance auto.Never seen anything made by BWD that could last longer then 10-12 months.Stay away from there coil packs. This of course is from experiance at work, not personal experiances on my KJ.

Ok, we all know you're the almighty so I guess mine should be crapping out here in a month or two since I replaced earlier this year.
