Hey All-

Just wondering if you guys ever get a wheel alignment done on your KJs. Never had one done on this vehicle before. I noticed it pulls ever so slightly to the left on the highway but there's no abnormal wear on the tires and I rotate them often enough anyway.

Yes.

I go at least twice a year for an alignment. More often when I factor in long trips/off roading.

If you plan to keep your KJ awhile, and you have Firestone locations near you, check into their lifetime alignment program. Well worth the money spent.

I got mine aligned for the first time in 3.5 years a few months ago, haha. Tires are worn odd, don't care, as they are coming off in the spring anyway. I pay $40 per alignment.

I also rotated the tires, and it doesn't pull at all, even with the lift.

I purchased a Lifetime Alignment and Balance from Expert Tire for my KJ and my Town & Country. I take both of them twice a year, but I also take my KJ after a harsh OR trip.

Having an alignment is beneficial for 3 reasons.
1-Tires wear evenly, longer tread life (as long a correct pressure is maintained)
2-The vehicle will track properly and steering does not pull or drift. (way safer)
3-The Alignment shop can also have a good look over all the front end components, & driveline
and ask them to use a wrench and make sure everything is tight. (tie-rod, sway bar links etc) and have them inspect the ball joints while there!
I complete one every year or every 25k miles
