I recently received a recall notice from my dealership for my '07 KJ. Does anyone know of a recall being issued by JEEP? I checked the Jeep website and didn't find anything, though I am not sure if their site is up to date. The dealership that mailed me the notification is called "Bayside Chrysler - Jeep - Dodge" in Queens, NY.

Yeah, something doesn't sound right. What exactly did it say?

Haha, bayside, search the site for them and read the horror stories from -=Jon=-
Probably recalling you to rob you in a way, or get you to buy a new vehicle.

The neon orange postcard says

"URGENT RECALL NOTICE

You 2007 Jeep may in need of correction to assure its continued Safe and Reliable Operation. You may have been notified by your vehicle devision of the existing problems but you may NOT have taken steps with us to have the correction made. We urge you to call 1-888-666-4556 for an appointment As Soon As Possible. Of course all recall work is at No Charge To You.

Please call 1-888-666-4556. This is extremely important"

If it isn't the dealer you bought it from then ignore it. If it is then maybe they installed something that was later recalled, which is about as likely as a dealership giving you a good deal.

A true recall notice will not be on a postcard, will not be neon orange, and will state the actual recall # and name,it also will have your VIN# on the notice also.I'd call Chrysler and find out,do not call that # listed as it maybe a scam.Never call any #,call the source and find out the facts 1st.

It's a postcard directly from the dealership and the postcard has my car VIN, Make, and has a Notification # CJD091010

Not sure what to make of it.

Thanks all, I call Jeep and they said there were no recalls and they recommended I call the dealership. So I did and they said no problem with my KJ and to discard the letter.

oh
that is a spam to try and get you to buy an extended warranty. I would put money on it.
