I recently got back into a Jeep by way of an '07 KJ Sport 4X4 (black). God I missed being in a Jeep. I have already taken a road trip with the wife and dog and not one bad thing to say. Anyways, I plan on doing alot more with it in the near future. Some plans include (in no order)

-*Tint
-*Beefier Tires & wheels
-*Maybe a lift (haven't decided)
-Roof Basket
-Stock Grill insert fog light kit
-Hella 500 driving lights
-*I have a double din stereo that I want to fit into that 'euro din' slot
-mudmats for the whole interior
-Flowmaster 40 series (just for kicks)
-Tow hooks
-1.25" Spacers
-Tail light grills
I will try my best to update anything that changes nana.gif

Before you splurge on wheels & tire (or anything for that matter) do some soul searching and decide on the lift. Don't do like me and waste money on little tires, only to buy another set later in the year after your lift. Though I really like my roof rack, the lift and tires make the jeep.

+1 for lift, cragar soft 8's, & some taller meats.

Oh yeah, and for "mud mats" make sure you check out "husky liners". Best money I've spent on my jeep to date. Not too expensive and really keep things clean.

thanks for the input... I keep tossing the lift back and forth and it may happen someday, I just want to be sure I spend money on a good lift... I just want to avoid that off-road ride while Im on the highway.

I had some husky liners in my old jeep and fell in love with those things... those are a definite! :D

I wish I would have done it at the start of the summer... I def. notice the temperature difference, and could grab a pillow and take a nap in day light cause its so dark.

Yup, time for us to tint the drivers and passengers front windows to match the factory privacy glass...
I would also like to add some more top tint to the windshield.
Not only will it be cooler, it will look cooler as well!

Man I kinda wish I would have gotten the eyebrow tint for the windshield... I stuck my toll tag up there and I didn't want to peel it off and get a new one though.

DVDs, and iPod Video won't work while moving, so for lack of a better way to do it. We spliced in a toggle switch that simulates the ebrake.

update:

Well It has been a long time coming but I finally ended up with a 2.5 lift and 245 75 16 BFGs with the black rock 90 series wheels... I think it turned out awesome. I do need some spacers to fix the slight rub though... I have already ground down the spot welds that stick out in the wheel well, and removed some plastic, but I think a little more space would do fine. Spidertrax maybe??? I have found numerous brands for spacers... its seems like anyone with a machine and some billet make spacers.

anyways thanks for checking out the mods and I hope to keep building on it soon!
