Our Libby was bought at a non-Jeep dealership, and in prepping the Jeep for me to pick up, they changed the wipers to something that looks too small for the Jeep.

I made a trip to Canadian Tire, and they listed 19" as the size for the front, and did not list anything for the rear. Given that they list the wrong size for my Jetta, 19" seems a little large for the Jeep.

What size do the 04's come with front and rear?

Is it 19" and 11" for the rear?

Thanks!

Best thing for the rear is just to go to the dealer for it. $9, so not much more if any more than a better one from Pepboys.

For the rear 11" wiper, I had trouble finding one at the usual parts places. I finally went to the dealer and got one and it was around $10-$12 or so if I remember right. Since it was OEM it snapped right in place easily.

If you ever forget, look at your windshield where the wipers sit. There are small black vertical lines that come up on either side of each wiper's edge.

You can also get a 12in for the rear. That fits as well with no issues and easier to find. Not many places carry the 11in blade. Atleast around here.

My dealer wanted $20 sum dollars for that stock rear wiper. I was like no thank you. Then I went to my local A&A auto and that's where I found out that the 12in that would work too. That only cost me $6
I don't mind spending money on the front wipers but not the rear since it gets used 1/2 the time.

Sure TBJ, but... if an aftermarket cost me $8 and lasts half as long as a $20 OE blade, I'm still saving a few bucks.

Just sayin'.

But of course this is based on my assumption that I would go through exactly 2 aftermarket blades in the same time I would go through one OE blade.

Back to the OP question about the wiper size, I personally find that if I go 1" shorter on size with the front wipers, they do not lift as much from the airflow; and I don't get as much ice that accumulates along the sides of the A-post and interferes with the blades in the winter. But that's just my own experience.
