Just found this site while searhing for a "How To" on removing my factory radio. Sirius is no longer worth the fee... cheaper to install an aftermarket system that's compatible with my iPod Nano. I'm now anxiously awaiting delivery from Crutchfield... free shipping takes a week!

Anyway, I bought my 2006 Liberty Sport New... it now has 75,000+ miles and has never been in the shop for any major repair. (hope I didn't just jinx that) It has been off road, although no serious rock climbing. Afterall, it is my every day driver.

With all the financial trouble at Chrysler, what do you think the future will look like for Jeep?

Welcome to the forum, Az. Good on ya that it's never been in the shop for anything major.

I think the word on the street around here is that between now and 100k you might start thinking about replacing your tensioner assembly. I'm going to replace mine in the next month. I'm at 85,000.

As for the future of Jeep, the Great PJ O'Rourke noted that Jeep has been bought/Sold and survived the most ill-run and insolvent Automakers in history (anyone remember AMC?) and will probably survive Chrysler too.

Alright, more AZ folk. Where abouts in AZ? Where have you taken your heep so far? Unlike those back east, we are lucky enough to wheel just about anywhere in this fine state!

Also, we need some proof that you have a KJ. It is kind of an unofficial rule. Anyone can come on here claiming to have a Libby, but we need photos ;)

Welcome to the coolest corner of the interweb.

Its been along time since I'd logged in and was searching the web to decode the Vin number of one of the libby's I am looking at and 2nd search result.. JeepKJ Country! hot damn I logged right in.

This site is by far the best one i've ever joined. (I canceled my facebook, myspace stuff)
