Okay this is weird but I have noticed it a couple times now. At nighttime when I’m driving home and I use my turn signal…
(You know that point where your turn signal turns off automatically after you straighten your Kj out)

For like a second all my lights will turn off and back on. Does anybody know why it does this?

multifunction module.

Can get it at the dealer or at NAPA (Standard Electric brand). Both right around 60 clams.
Easy replacement, about 20 minutes, including beer break.

Mine does that as well. Not often enough to be too irritating, so I haven't fixed it yet. Once it does become a PITA, then I'll be replacing it... but for now, I deal.

My sister's KJ has been doing it for years. My '06 did it too.

If I had fog lamps I'd be waiting on mine to die. I hear that Chrysler's more recent switches are no better.

It's one of those Deal-With-It-Because-If-You-Fix-It-It-Will-Break-Again kind of things.

My dash backlighting changes intensity when I go from high beam to low beam and back again.

Yeah it's a PITA but not worth fixing. Stupid multifu*kion stalk.

Do you mean all lights including the headlights or just the lights in the dash ?

i think they mean the headlights and foglights. mine does it to every once in a while but its maybe once a month if that even. but now i know what it is so when it gets really annoying i can fix it.

With mine, the dome light and the dash lights will sometimes flicker on and off... not just the exterior lights.

Now that's good info for this thread.
