Your KK a stick??

Yep one of the few 08's that are out here..... Also for the record, Manual KK's come with 3.21 gears...

I haven't measured my mileage lately, but last summer, I was averaging 16ish city with my 4 inch lift, E rated BFG TAKO's. Mine also weights more then 4800+

Am I reading this correctly, or did I miss something? I'm not sure if I am following this is the correct order because I too am dying to hear how it works.

I notice a lot of people have asked about the Jet chip, but nobody seems to care. Would anyone with a Jet chip like to let us know about their experience?

OK, from what I gather, crap...LOL

So glad I read through 5 pages to see no reply about the Jet Chip.
I have figured my mileage a few times since I got the Lib 4 months ago. I end up with between 15 and 17. I assumed when I bought the thing it would get similar mileage to my 2005 4.0 Ford Ranger, and I do. I also don't keep up on my tire pressure like a good boy should.

No replies about the chip, this seems to be a mileage thread.

If big tires give you such bad mileage that it's bothering you, why don't you get a set of street tires and rims for going to work, and the put the big ones on when you hit the trail?

Or maybe you could get a civic for work!:D

Not to rage or anything, but why on earth does every JET chip thread always lead off into the distance about a different subject?!

I'd like to know what the benefits are of installing this chip-

and- I get about 10.8 miles to the gallon in the city.

Jet Chip

I'd like to also know if the Jet chip works. I do mostly city driving but I don't go into work until 1030 pm when there is no traffic so I am driving 40-50 miles per hour with very few stops. Coming home in the morning most of the traffic is going in the other direction so there isn't too much stop-and-go. I also drive 10 miles each way so the engine is warming up properly. I was getting 15.5 mpg and I just put in a K&N drop in filter. I got 16.2 mpg on the first tank but I am only 1/4 of the way into the next one. Still have the crappy stock Wrangler ST's on it (225-75-16). Also there is some additional weight over the stock 4x4 with OEM skids- I put an Aries brush guard on it. I think I should be getting slightly better mileage- I am driving at sea level on flat terrain using 87 octane. Any info on the Jet Chip would be nice if anybody with one could post it. I also pulled the roof racks off and will only put them on when I need them.

Judging by the response I'd say what has happened is what everyone on here says happens. The computer ends up compensating for the chip which after a while negates your add-on.
