Well, my rear tow hook finally arrived today. It is listed for 2002-2007 KJ, but it looked the same as the hook on the KK. So I ordered it.

Turns out I was right. The mount is exactly the same. Here are a few pics. As you can see, I really need to steam clean the bottom of my Jeep.:D

No, I've been told it use the same mounting holes. Why would you need it with the hitch as a hook-up point?

With this, it is either one or the other. The rear tow hook mounts on the left side, and uses two of the hitch mounting holes.

If you have a hitch, stick with that. Instead of putting stress on 2 bolts when recovering with the hook, a hitch distributes the weight over 6 bolts on both sides of the unibody

if you got a hitch go buy a hook attachment for your Hitch. $10 bucks from Harbor Freight . I use mine all the time with no issues. infact I was pulling tree stumps out of the ground today with it :)
